Callcard Information

This phonecard was issued by the University of Limerick Plassey Campus Centre for use within the universities campus, a similarity that exists with the University College Dublin phonecards.

ITG (Independent Telecoms Group) were the issuers of this card, and this phonecard is a special card as part of the systems launch. They were at that time installers of National Lottery Machines also.

The company was founded in 1989 by John Nagle and Maurice Healy.(This information was taken from Limerick Chronic article dated Tues Feb 4th 1997). The phonecards worked in IPM Payphones only.

Many thanks to our Facebook follower Gary Norris for the scans!
