Meteor was Irelands latest mobile network, being assigned the 085 access code. Unlike the other two providers (Eircell and Esat Digifone) Meteor was aimed at the younder generation, and aimed to provide a cheaper service. 

Like the other networks, Meteor Pay as You Go mobiles could be topped up using special top up cards some of which are pictured above.  

It was required to dial a special freephone number (1741), and key in a unique 12 digit number which if found valid would activate the user's credit.

my sim card is blocked,past date expired.Sorry.I live out of Ireland but I need this my phone number back.What can I do?
